Oreo Cookie Bark

My friend Tracy made this last year at our bible study recipe swap. It was so delicious! I made it last year and made it again this year for my Christmas goodie baskets. It’s so quick to put together and is so creamy. The oreos add a nice crunch and the peanut butter a great additional layer of flavor. Oh, and two different grocery stores were out of the white baking chocolate, so I just improvised with white chocolate chips and they worked great.

Oreo Cookie Bark

Ingredients:

1 pkg. (8 squares) Baker’s Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
1 pkg. (6 squares) Baker’s premium white baking chocolate
2 tbsp. creamy peanut butter
10 oreo cookies

Directions:
Place semi-sweet chocolate and white chocolate in separate microwaveable bowls. Microwave until completely melted, following the package directions. Add peanut butter to white chocolate. Stir until well blended. Crumble half the oreos into each of the bowls of chocolate. Mix well.

Drope spoonfulls of mixture onto a wax paper covered baking sheet, alternating the colors of chocolate. Cut through mixture with knife for marbling effect.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until firm. Break into pieces.

I know you have a plethora of recipes, but could you email me links to 2-3 of your favorites from your past posts at fun [dot] frugal [at] gmail [dot] com? Thanks, Gloria

  2. This is a great bark recipe – a nice refreshing change from the usual peppermint bark and Oreo truffles!
