White Hot Chocolate

I was wanting a hot chocolate recipe to serve at my recipe swap in early December and came across this recipe for White Hot Chocolate at On My Mind. It was so rich and decadent and the perfect drink for a cold night. This is great for tailgaiting or for a hot chocolate bar at a party. I served it in these cute snowman cups and had marshmallows for topping, but they would also be great with some shaved chocolate or whipped cream on top as well. I’m just now posting this recipe because I had so many great things to post about in December. It’s a good thing I waited so I would have something to post this week, because Adam has been out of town and I’ve just been cooking the basics. Hopefully next week will bring some healthy meals for your enjoyment.

2. With wire whisk, stir in white chocolate, sugar, and vanilla and almond extracts. Heat mixture 3 minutes or until chocolate melts, stirring occasionally. Pour in mugs & serve warm.

  4. Yum, I’m so glad you liked it!

I don’t think I mentioned this but I made your “Crowd Pleasin Cheeseball” for a Christmas party a few weeks ago, then I forgot it at home in my fridge so I ended up having to eat the whole thing myself! So it wasn’t crowd pleasin anymore, just Chelsey pleasin 😉

  5. Chelsey that is hilarious! I’m glad you enjoyed it though!

  6. Mmm..I vastly prefer white hot chocolate to the regular stuff! Can’t wait to make it at home!
