It’s officially been one year ago today since I started Macaroni & Cheesecake. (You can read my first post and the explanation for the name behind the blog here) I want to start off by thanking all of you that read my little blog. You all are so kind, encouraging and thoughtful with all of your comments. It is such an honor that you take the time to visit and read my blog. I started this as a creative outlet, and it has quickly become a passion for me. I just love getting in the kitchen and often find myself baking something just so I can share it with you all (and sample it of course)!
So, to re-cap this year I decided to share my top five favorite recipes from this past year, which was super hard to decide on, but here they are.

My favorite cookies are some my MIL makes- it is an oatmeal cookie base with toasted coconut flakes and white chocolate chips. It might have some sort of nut in there too, I can't remember, but they are seriously good!
Hey- congrats- you don't know me, but I love to cook and bake and try out new recipes. I discovered google reader and subscribed to your blog because of the eloquent recipes you have been posting. I like a lot of cookies…they are my favorite treat in fact….I really enjoy peppermint or raspberry meringue cookies…I tried them out back in January- a little tricky to make but super delicious and light and fluffy

My favorite cookie is a peanut butter cookie (baked in a mini muffin tin) with a peanut butter cup in the middle once it comes out of the oven. So good! It's been my fav since I was a little kid.
