Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

I don’t know about where you live, but here in the south it’s been HOT, HOT, HOT! I mean this is the hottest summer I can ever remember. So over the fourth I decided we needed a nice refreshing drink after coming in from the pool. I had seen a spread on frozen fruity drinks in Real Simple and it inspired me to make my own. I used fresh strawberries and raspberries that I had put up in the freezer myself for this, but you can certainly use the frozen fruit from the store. You could also use fresh berries and add in ice until you get it the right consistency. If you don’t want to use the raspberries because of the seeds, just sub with extra berries of your choosing. This serves two but can easily be doubled or tripled for more guests.

  2. I subbed in some frozen mango chunks instead of raspberries. This is my new favorite smoothie!
