Rave: Vacation to Seacrest Beach, FL

This weeks rave is about our recent vacation to Seacrest Beach in Florida. Adam and I went with my Dad, Stepmom, Brother and Sister. It was a blast!! It is absolutely gorgeous! October is the perfect time to go too. It was cool in the mornings, so you didn’t feel like you had to rush to get to the beach. We got to the beach around noon each day and the weather was perfectly warm-but not sweltering, and then it cooled off in the evenings. The water was a bit cold at first, but perfect once you got all the way in. We had a blast jumping waves! It was also so quiet and peaceful-not crowded at all! I would definitely recommend going to the beach this time of year! The last day we even saw several dolphins and tons of larger fish.
Seacrest is a small beach community that is right beside Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. It’s about half way between Panama City and Destin. It’s got a private feel to it, but your just a short drive away from the grocery and restaurants.

Adam and I got up every morning and either walked or ran. One of the walking mornings I took my camera and snapped some pictures of the area. Breathtakingly beautiful!

Saturday morning we went to breakfast at The Donut Hole in Santa Rosa Beach. So Delicious! I had my favorite breakfast-eggs benedict (pictured below), and of course we got donuts-chocolate cake donuts, an eclair, and regular glazed. So good! I had like 3 1/2 donuts throughout the course of the day! After breakfast, we went over to Seaside. It’s such a neat little town! They were having a fall family festival as well, so we browsed around that. It was so neat!

Hope to go back soon! I miss it already!
