Strawberry on Top

We have been super busy lately! In May we were doing something every weekend, but it was all lots of fun stuff! So for Memorial Day we had a low key family day and went to the zoo and let Sophie play with her water table outside. Then, we ended up ordering pizza, haha! Don’t worry we celebrated with burgers and watermelon the night before with our friends, which was lots of fun. What did you do for Memorial Day?IMG_1399

Sophie absolutely loved the zoo. She was cautious and wanted us to hold her around the animals but she was mesmerized at the same time. She didn’t want to get to close but loved waving at them and making their animal sounds. Her favorites were the “Monkeys Swinging” as she says and the Elephants.

Memorial DaySophie got to experience her first golf tournament. Adam & I are in charge of a charity golf tournament each year so she came and “helped” us for a bit before she went with her Grammy. She loved watching everyone and the weather was so perfect that day, such a blessing! Sophie also helped me in the kitchen recently make some muffins. I even let her stir a little and add some stuff in. It was so fun now that she can really start helping. And she was so interested in it and watched me the whole time. Do you have any big summer plans?
