White Christmas Trail Mix

My uncle Dale made this one Christmas when I was in college and I was instantly hooked. This stuff is super addictive! It actually uses almond bark, but it sounded better to call it white chocolate trail mix-haha! I’m sure it would be equally as good with white chocolate on it. This is so easy, but you have to work quick and in small batches because the almond bark hardens really quickly. The amounts are approximate, but you want equal parts of each item. It just depends on how big of a batch you want to make. Hope the recipe makes sense! If you have any questions just let me know.

White Chocolate Trail Mix

Ingredients:
1 large bag peanut M&Ms
1/2 bag pretzel sticks
1/2 box corn Chex cereal
1/2 box rice Chex cereal
8 oz. unsalted peanuts
24 squares almond bark

Directions:
Lay out several sheets of wax paper.

Combine M&Ms, pretzel sticks, chex and peanuts in a large bowl & stir together. Separate into four batches.  Melt  6 squares of almond bark for each batch according to the package directions.  Once melted our over trail mix and gently stir together until mix is fully coated.  Working quickly spoon out clumps of the trail mix onto wax paper.  Let cool until chocolate has set and store in an airtight container.
