We Will Never Forget

9.11.01.  It was my sophomore year in college.  My roommate came in and woke me up and said ‘you need to come watch this.’ We watched in horror with the rest of the country as the second tower was hit and then as both towers fell and so many lost their lives.  I remembering crying along with Tom Brokaw as he broke down during his coverage. I am heartbroken for all of the family & friends that lost loved ones and were touched by this tragedy.  So many heroes and stories of that day that we will truly never forget. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. I still can’t think of it without tearing up.  One thing that continues to give me hope is that God is still in control, He is still loving and good despite all of the evil in the world.

I pray that we truly never do forget and that we continue to come together as a nation offering love, prayers and comfort to one another. God be with all those families, especially today.
