I know I promised a recipe today, but I’ve just been enjoying my family too much and wasn’t in the kitchen much earlier this week.  I am making a few new recipes this weekend so hopefully they will turn out great and I’ll have new recipes for you very soon! We had such a fabulous Christmas! We spent this past weekend with my Dad’s side of the family in Kentucky and Nashville and had a blast! Lots of games and laughter for sure! We always take an annual funny picture and they are so fun to look back on all the hilarious poses! We played lots of games, air hockey, shuffleboard, catch phrase, and of course, Dirty Santa!! The above picture is Adam & I at my mom’s house and we always all wear our pajamas and have Christmas brunch.

taylor christmasSanta was very good to me this year and brought me my first Le Creuset piece! It’s a 5 qt. stock pot and  I can’t wait to make some soup in it! And Adam got me a new pair of Tom’s, and they have little sparklies in them!:) And of course, Hershey wasn’t left out and got 3 new toys! And Adam’s mom made everyone handmade gorgeous quilts! Ours matches our bedroom perfectly and is so gorgeous, something I will cherish forever! And of course, the gifts are nice but we are so blessed to have such wonderful family that loves us no matter what and are so much fun! What was your favorite thing Santa brought you?

My favorite gift was having my girls home for the holidays. But my second would have to be my 22 quart Hamilton Beach Roaster. I know we just had Thanksgiving but I can’t wait to roast a turkey in it. All tho I have to say, I wouldn’t turn down a Le Creuset if offered.

Love your new stock pot! What a fun color :) My favorite new item was also kitchen related – donut pans! I wasted no time breaking them in. We had chocolate raspberry donuts on the 26th :)
