Cheeseburger Roll Ups

So our grill is iffy lately plus it was raining…but I was wanting hamburgers, then I came across these Cheeseburger Roll Ups and knew they would be the perfect solution! My family absolutely loved these!! They have great flavor of a cheeseburger but in a fun roll up that’s easy for kids to eat and a great alternative if you aren’t able to grill outside with the weather. You could even make these into smaller triangles or cut them up to make a great appetizer. I bet they would go great with a fry sauce as well.

Ingredients:
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 onion diced (or 1 tbsp. minced dry onion)
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tbsp. yellow mustard
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tube refrigerated pizza dough crust or 2 tubes of crescent rolls
Approx 1 cup shredded cheese of your choice
Cooking spray

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.

In a large skillet brown the ground beef together with the onion until cooked through. Drain off any excess juices and remove from heat. Once drained, add in the Worcestershire, pepper, salt, ketchup, mustard & brown sugar. Stir to incorporate.

If using pizza dough, cut into 8 rectangles, if using crescent rolls, roll out and press two triangles together to make rectangles. Spoon ground beef mixture over the dough rectangles, leaving about 1/4 inch around the edges. Top each rectangle with shredded cheese. Roll each rectangle up long ways, and place on prepared baking sheet, seam side down. Spray tops of each roll up with cooking spray or brush with melted butter.

Bake for approximately 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Serve with ketchup & mustard for dipping.
