Trick or Treat Recipe Round-up

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! You may or may not have noticed, but I have been a bit absent from social media this past week and have been slow to reply to comments. The reason for that is that I actually had minor laproscopic surgery last Tuesday.  I had a couple areas of  endometriosis and a couple of polyps removed.  All is good and they got everything they needed to get.  It’s just taken me quite a bit longer to recover than I really anticipated.  It’s taken me several days to even be able to get up and around.  I’m trying to take baby steps and ease back into doing things so I don’t overdo it and have a set back.  So needless to say, I have been out of the kitchen.  I’ve been so blessed to have my fabulous family and friends dropping off delicious meals and desserts throughout the past week.  And my sweet husband has taken amazing care of me.  I am definitely on the mend and hoping to be back in the kitchen in the next couple of days.  Until then, I thought I would share a few treats that you can make with some of that leftover candy you will get on Halloween and a few fun treats in case you haven’t made your Halloween menu yet.   Oh and the above picture is the Mickey Mouse pumpkin we carved last year.

Snickers Mini Cheesecakes

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Candy Corn Fudge

Mummy Dogs

Two Ingredient Ice Cream
(Can add in any of your favorite candy)

Caramel Marshmallow Popcorn
(Would be fun rolled into balls and wrapped in wax paper for a halloween party)

  1. Take it easy and don’t overdo it!!! I love the fun round up of Halloween recipes…I hear those cheesecakes calling my name:-)

  2. Oh Stephanie!! I hope you get well soon! People always assume that if it’s lapriscopic that you can bounce back so quickly so I am glad to hear that you are taking care of youself! It’s great that your hubby and friends are driving you around and taking good care of you too 🙂 It took me quite a while after I had surgery last year to finally feel up to getting back in the kitchen – and it was well worth the break!

Great Halloween recipe round up! Lots of fun ideas 🙂

    Happy Halloween!!
